Public bug reported: When choosing "apply system-wide" using the button or upon exit, gnome- network-properties shows two PolicyKit authentication dialogs (pkexec) so I have to enter my password twice. This may not be a technical bug but it's a user experience problem and is quite annoying.
Please note that although I've set "timestamp_timeout=0" in the sudo configuration file to never have a grace period, removing it and hence allowing the default grace of 15 minutes does *not* stop this issue from occurring. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Network Proxy dialog shows two pkexec prompts on "apply system-wide" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/619188 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
