I have downloaded the alpha 3 release of Ubuntu 10.10 (the desktop 64bit
one). Using a live CD I managed to download xsane. I scanned a document
with colour settings and I attach for you the result as "colour
scanning". I also tried to scan in black white mode and saved the result
