Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
There is a cross button displayed on the top right corner of the sidebar. I've seen many new ubuntu users who have accidentally closed the sidebar by clicking on this button. To restore this sidebar you have to go in the "view" menu, find the option, and check it again. The ubuntu beginners I know are not able to restore it. Couldn't it be replaced by a switch button in the tool bar (to activate/deactivate it)? I've quickly made a little mock-up. ** Affects: hundredpapercuts Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- removing the sidebar closing button https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/619678 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
