Even after following the procedures in
https://help.ubuntu.com/10.04/musicvideophotos/C/video-dvd.html,
encrypted DVDs can't be played. Actually, when the DVD is inserted into
drive, it disappears from computer:/// location in nautilus. VLC doesn't
work as well.

The logs, kern.log, dmesg, etc, keep repeating the following:

As soon as another unencrypted DVD is inserted, the DVD device reappears
and a dialog opens suggesting to play it with Totem.
