Public bug reported: Even after following the procedures in https://help.ubuntu.com/10.04/musicvideophotos/C/video-dvd.html, encrypted DVDs can't be played. Actually, when the DVD is inserted into drive, it disappears from computer:/// location in nautilus. VLC doesn't work as well.
The logs, kern.log, dmesg, etc, keep repeating the following: Aug 19 09:45:20 aldo-desktop kernel: [ 2432.248880] sr 2:0:0:0: [sr0] Unhandled sense code Aug 19 09:45:20 aldo-desktop kernel: [ 2432.248889] sr 2:0:0:0: [sr0] Result: hostbyte=DID_OK driverbyte=DRIVER_SENSE Aug 19 09:45:20 aldo-desktop kernel: [ 2432.248898] sr 2:0:0:0: [sr0] Sense Key : Medium Error [current] Aug 19 09:45:20 aldo-desktop kernel: [ 2432.248909] sr 2:0:0:0: [sr0] Add.
