¿Did you tried "FSFN"?
I've got a VGN-FS Vaio and I need "fsfn" for handling FN keys.
My laptop reports FN keys in two steps:
- Sends a keyboard event telling that FN+XX is pressed
- Put the XX code in an ACPI register
Then I need "soy-acpi" kernel module to have /proc/acpi/sony/fnkey. FSFN
