I'm reopening this, as I think it would be really nice to have it, and
it wouldn't make any harm.
I don't like Qt interfaces (specially compared to GTK+ ones), I don't
like KDE's policy of let's offer a thousand of menus and options. When
I'm looking for an application, I prefer one which is GTK+
We mark GTK/QT based applications with a small emblem and a tooltip.
There are many users who use e.g. amarok in a GNOME environment.
The goal should be to improve desktop interoperatability and to separate
things more.

Thank you for the suggestion. A developer will tend to the request soon,
and ask you follow-up questions if required. I personally think that
such a filter would be very handy.
