I think this should fix it (merged into Ubuntu as debian-installer-utils
1.36ubuntu1, and incorporated in ubiquity 1.1.28). Please let me know if
tomorrow's daily build is still broken.

OK, I think I see the bug here. Believe it or not, it actually seems to
be as far down the stack as debian-installer-utils (specifically, log-
output breaks lines into 1024-byte pieces due to a quirk of how the
di_exec_* functions work). I've committed a fix for this upstream and
will get it into
Applications can not close shared connections. Please fix this in your
app. Ignoring close request and continuing is from the periodic run of
'gnome-screensaver-command --poke', and isn't directly relevant to this
bug.

I can't seem to reproduce this here. If you can get me a syslog that I
can actually read (the one you attached earlier gives me 403
Forbidden), then that might help.

I have possibly the same problem. Minor difference it either hangs at
the keyboard selection screen or the timezone screen depending on how
long it takes you to get through first screen.
I did notice that there is another window (minimized in window list)
that appears when you launch the

Some information, I forgot: once the timezone selection appeared, I just
clicked next, because the information was correct. Then the back and
next buttons gray out, I can click everything else (cancel, choose
timezone, or select a city, even the zooming on the map works), but the
back and next
