Public bug reported: Hi!
My original bugreport for this problem was filed a while ago (Bugnr. 47241) It also happened with the knot 3 kernel, which seems to be 2.6.17-7 Today I discovered the reason for the kernel freeze because the rescue disk function was more verbose than the installer kernel. The kernel installed with knot 3(...17-7-generic) doesn't boot with usb-legacy turned on in the bios too. I just upgraded via text konsole (I have a USB mouse) and 2.6.17-10 doesn't work too. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- kernel freezes on boot when USB-legacy is turned on https://launchpad.net/bugs/62806 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
