Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubiquity

Kubuntu i386 Live USB 20100902.1

Selected "Guided - use entire partition, SCSI1 (0,0,0) partition #1
(sda)" to install on a system with an existing Kubuntu install. I
expected there to be some kind of feedback and "guidance" on the
install. Instead it just overwrote the existing install with a new one.

This is apparently what is supposed to happen, but it is absolutely NOT
clear that the existing installation, including user data, will be wiped
out.
