Thanks for the fix.
I tested the fix for maverick, then I noticed FTBFS.
I submitted new bug report as Bug #632238.
Anyway, I can confirm this bug was fixed with "./autogen && make" which is
described in the link below.

If I create symlink as exclude_folder_symlink -> exclude_folder_body and
specify as exclude,
deja-dup outputs like
duplicity '--exclude=/home/user1/exclude_folder_symlink'
'--include=/home/user1/exclude_folder_body'
