incorrect, and you're likely to cause more damage than you solve. If you
still have a problem, please file a separate bug rather than using this

I'm afraid that there is nothing I can do about this without the
requested log files. If you (the original reporter) can reproduce this
bug with a current release and can get me the log files, feel free to
reopen this bug. (Anyone else reading this who believes they have a
similar problem should
I've modified /usr/bin/ubiquity like that :
line 65
targetdb = '/var/cache/debconf/config.dat'
in place of :
targetdb = '/target/var/cache/debconf/config.dat'
The install process goes now to step 2 but I've got this error in
/var/log/syslog :
Oct 17 19:58:37 ubuntu ubiquity: debconf:
I'm getting mad !!
I tried a second time and now there is no more problem.
The installer goes to the end of the process.
But what is this line in syslog locked by another process? Is it a problem?
or just a warning?
