Yep, same here.. Nvidia graphics card, (GeForce 6x series) and VA1912W.
Stuck on 1024x768. Don't want to go mucking anything up but this is

Same here with Ubuntu Feisty 7.04 amd64. It doesn't work properly. The
display is set on 1280x1024 (76Hz). I can not choose an 16:9 resolution
