I experience a similar problem in 64-bit Edgy Beta (+ a few days worth of
updates) where the swap partition isn't
mounted. The "sudo swapon -a" command failed with the message that the
partition with UUID= could not be found.
After changing the UUID label to /dev/sda5 in /etc/fstab the swap
