The Huawei E1552 is not recognized any more on maverick. It was recognized perfectly under Karmic (9.10), problems under Lucid (10.04) in combination with other modems (see Bug #627883) and now does not work at all. - Situation with mobile internet sticks getting continously worse although those mobile USB modems get more and more used.
