The line that says ACPI: Invalid PBLK length [5] is our hint here. The FreeBSD people seem to have fixed this in their ACPI implementation. From http://www.freebsd.org/projects/acpi/completed.html, Nate Lawson writes: Invalid PBLK length workaround -- Accept a PBLK of length 5 (spec says 6).

Hey, I'm getting the same thing. It is writing: ACPI: Unable to turn cooling device [dbfdfdec] 'on' EVERY SIX SECONDS! My log files are HUGE!!! I did some searching and I found that it is coming from a file called 'thermal.c'. (try using google code search). I also found this being talked
