hi,
I dist-upgraded from dapper to edgy 1 day ago.
All rocks.
Except gnome sound panel applet has no effect.
I have sound working (hda-intel). Totem/xine all work.
But this used to work in dapper now it doesn't.
When I run alsamixer I get this error:

Also I can't get sound in flash any more (e.g.: youtube) but it used to
work fine.
