UPDATE: I have asked on Amarok's forum and they gave me the solution to my
problem:

The administrator of that forum told me to disable "Watch folders for
Changes" in the collection setup.
And it worked Great.

That link to the image is not of any help its your personal homepage
with no image of top. please run top or ps aux while its hogging cpu and
paste the contents to this bug or toa file and attach the file to the

I have tried another mp3 (the file which I tried before was an mp3 as
well). It does the same thing with all the mp3s I have.
I doubt that my PC is not powerful enough.
AMD64 3500+
2GB of RAM
Geforce FX5500 AGP 128MB
and 2 hard disks (both with a 16MB cache)

Can you please try a different file and see if it does this. What file
format is the file that this happens on? i have 137 mp3s that i run in
amarok 1.4.3 and i cant get it to use much cpu. What are your hardware
specs? ram cpu thinkgs like that if its an older system with small cpu
that can be the
