There was a nice square yellow icon until some updates ago. Does anyone
have a screenshot of that?

OK this is how tomboy looked on Dapper:

I continue to discuss this issue on [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
It is fairly trivial to remove the scribble from the variable (svg)
icon, and that is what I am hoping will be done.
I cannot live with "angry cheese" for six months, and I will be embarressed
trying to convert others to Linux

No progress has been made on the Tomboy list. I have attached a svg with
a clean pad.

svg: that likely does not solve the problem, b/c the svg is not used for
Windows Switching, and I still get the "angry cheese".

If you create the same directory structure that exists under
/usr/share/icons you can replace all the icons for Tomboy. I took the
SVG that foolswisdon supplied and converted it in inkscape to the
required PNG files (16x16 for taskbar icons, 32x32 for application
switcher, the orginal scalable icon
This is fixed with 0.5.0-0ubuntu1 now.
