Version 0.72 of Shotwell.

Just imported > 21000 image files, including scans of negatives going
back to the 1960s.

Digital camera images organised by date satisfactorily.

Scan date ignored for images scanned from negatives using Nikon Coolscan
IV, which makes indexing more difficult.

Date of scan is available through File Manager->Right Click on
Filename->Properties->Image
