Further info...
I am running Ubuntu 10.04 with the driver downloaded from Realtek with no
problem.
Distributions with the Realtek 8192 WiFi driver actually in the kernel do not
seem to work.
As an example Mandriva 2010.1 now includes the Realtek 8192 driver in the
