Binary package hint: openssl

When recently upgrading libssl on an Ubuntu Hardy Linode VM, the
following message was displayed:

Indeed, gettext is not installed on this VM.  Perhaps it should be
included as a dep here?  Or (since it's liikely to be the case for a
number of packges) a dep on update-notifier?
