specific tests; currently it is not possible to run them as-is, since
they would require passing parameters at run-time.
The equivalent change was been merged in QRT at the time I requested
this merge.

No-one seems to know why these tests have been proposed for merging into
Checkbox. Are you aware of what the reason was? Do you still want them
merged?
