In gnome-system-manager, memory used by a program is measured in Kibibytes, Mebibytes, or Gibibytes, etc. According to the JEDEC memory standard, this is incorrect. According to Ubuntu policy (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UnitsPolicy) it is correct to use base-2 (i.e., kibibytes et al.) for RAM
