After using Update Manager, I got the following error:

The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_WindowListApplet".
Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration?
Don't Delete       Delete

I chose Don't Delete and have not (yet) encountered the problem again.
Could somebody please explain this problem and it's impact on the
system?
