I tried the newest mainline kernel (just in case) and this error happens with it too. This bug makes the boot experience very bad because the beautiful Ubuntu boot screen starts after this and it takes ~3 seconds. ** Changed in: udev (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- Udev worker error
