Closing because it works fine for me on fresh Edgy and Feisty installs
now, Liferea doesn't use bitmap fonts by default except on Ubuntu
installs sometime during Edgy development

I had this issue in an early edgy installation which was updated to
final, but i recently did a fresh edgy installation and I don't see this
problem at all anymore.

No, this only appears to be a bug in early Edgy installs that are
upgraded to final Edgy.

I also have this issue in Epiphany, Firefox and Liferea. My Edgy
install was an early alpha, this bug didn't appear in later alphas and
betas. Following the directions above fixed this issue though.
