The bug happens only for specific panel sizes - for me these are 20, 22,
26, 27, 28, 29, 32. The font size with which the label is drawn is
adjusted depending on the panel size, but not too well.

any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, the HDD of the PC I had this happening on died some months ago. I
would try with a Live CD, but the shipit ones don't seem to run on the
very old CDROM and currently I don't have any CD-writer handy to create
another one. Probably won't be able to test this within the next couple
of weeks.
