The OpenLDAP Server Documentation at http://doc.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/serverguide/C/openldap-server.html Has a five-step section starting with "Adding additional schemas to slapd requires the schema to be converted to LDIF format." Those five steps can be greatly simplified by using a shell script to do the work.
