By the way, if I execute `./Pharo.sh` (with the '-' in the executable
permission), the pharo IDE works just fine.

The previous version of the one-click (which I have saved in a vfat
volume) does not show the '-' in the properties context menu for
Pharo.sh.
Please note hat my suggestion of the root permission IS definitely
incorrect - as pointed out by Scot. However, the 'Open' and accompanying

Contrary to what kklimonda claims, the behavior of 10.10 with respect to
script files is incorrect and therefore a bug. A file with a '#!' in the
first line identifies it as an executable script file to be excute by a

Do you have the Wine PPA installed? The default Wine packages make use
of cautious-launcher but the PPA ones disable it. Wine's mime type
should cover .exe and .msi at least, I'm not sure what happens to .bat
and .com files as it's been so long since I've seen one.
