Its was noted in debian in this bug: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=370543 and apparently was fixed by upgrading from
1.0pre3-1 to 1.0pre3-2.

Confirmed. The error seems to be: "Recursive `require' for feature
`semantic-ede-grammar'".
