Public bug reported: Binary package hint: memtest86+
Executing "make-memtest86+-boot-floppy" gives the following output: $ make-memtest86+-boot-floppy * Creating msdos file system 1440+0 records in 1440+0 records out 1474560 bytes (1.5 MB) copied, 0.064753 s, 22.8 MB/s * Installing GRUB files Copying menu.lst /usr/lib/grub/i386/*: No such file or directory The line in the script that reads "i386|?*-i386) GRUBARCH=i386;;" should be changed to read "i386|?*-i386) GRUBARCH=i386-pc;;"; this fixes the problem for me. (Something should probably be changed on the following line as well, but I don't have an x86_64 machine to test with.)
