@Pieter, there's nothing to do with unity, the problem is hal, you just need
to install the hal package.
I am working to remove the hal dependency from aptoncd.

The "load" still does not work in Ubuntu 11.04, used to work in Ubuntu
10.04. I think it has something to do with working with Unity.

Hi,
For your information, this is planned to remove HAL during next
development cycle, so APTonCD should be ported to something else.

The "create" function works normally. "Restore" function fails as
described. When I start aptoncd from the command line, the following
traceback occurs after clicking the "Load" button (for file selection):
