Are you using mercurial >=1.8?
hg-git 0.2.3 is not compatible with mercurial >=1.8 because mercurial seems
moved bookmarks out of hgext.
You can upgrade hg-git to 0.2.6.It's in debian testing,unstable and ubuntu
