The Alternate installation CD can also boot with memmap=128K$0x2000 however the system will not boot from sda after putting this /etc/default/grub GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="memmap=128K\$0x2000" and running update-grub. Only boots if I use GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="memory_corruption_check_size=128K" ** De
