Mouse pointer doesn't work
I have exactly the same symptoms . Mouse and keyboard don't work for 40 seconds
after waking up. But after that time they start to work again and every thing
back to normal.
I have a Dell XPS L502
Ubuntu 10.04

Sometimes touchpad movement will not work on resume from suspend.
Tapping the touchpad produces a right-click effect. On Lenovo Thinkpad
T420. Should I open a different bug?

Interestingly, if only the TrackPoint has failed and the keyboard and
trackpad are still working correctly, unloading and reloading the
'psmouse' module will solve it.
However, if the trackpad and/or keyboard are nonresponsive, unloading
psmouse will hang and then you're really stuck.
