Since this is a site specifically to allow torrent downloads, the iso
files are not to be directly downloaded. Please download the file with
.torrent extension, then use that by double-clicking it to download the
torrent image files. To directly download the image, do not use the
torrent image link
http://xubuntu.org/getubuntu has a line that says:
"Note: If you know how to use BitTorrent, the Torrent downloads are preferred."
In that line, the Torrent Downloads link to
http://torrent.ubuntu.com/xubuntu/releases/maverick/release/ .
