made a boot stic using the Live CD 11.04. The USB doesn't boot.

i was able to install maverick after switching out my fujitsu hdd (looks
like it may have been less than stellar). so this bug is obsolete for
me.

Sounds like the bug is in syslinux, so retargeting to that package.
I think fixing syslinux would be better than working around it in usb-
creator.

i followed the instructions at http://www.khattam.info/solved-syslinux-
unknown-keyword-in-configuration-file-2010-09-01.html, and it fixed the
problem. was able to boot from live usb after updating syslinux.
