Sorry, I don't have the screenshot you are asking for.
I got around the Ubuntu 10.10 installation problem by first installing
the 10.04 version and then upgrading to 10.10.
Thank you for looking into this problem. It could occur to others
attempting the installation of Ubuntu 10.10 from scratch
Peter, were you attempting to create a username with a capital letter as
Stefano suggests it?
Could you provide a screenshot of where ubiquity got stuck?
