This bug report is being closed due to your last comment regarding this
being fixed with an update. For future reference you can manage the
status of your own bugs by clicking on the current status in the yellow
line and then choosing a new status in the revealed drop down box. You

The problem seems to be fixed in public release. I don't know if after
30 mounts it hungs but I'll know... ;)

I have Ubuntu beta + all updates . After 30 mounts start fsck but fsck
hungs. After hungs in console I run fsck manually

Same here.
Booted off cd (knot 3), used gparted to shrink windows XP part., created
2 new parts. for ubuntu swap. Installed, updated and rebooted.
Now boot hangs at or just after fsck. This is on a Compaq nx7010 (which
isn't the most reliable peice of kit anyway). Doesn't seem to make any
