This is the Applet - CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor 2.30.0 I didn't understand the stuff on the website link you gave me, it sounded more for people who try to sort it out. I will give other information about the Laptop I am using which may help and the Kernel I am using AMD Turion x2 64 2GB

Denva, I change the graphics/text options by right-clicking in the icon, selecting Preferences from the top of the menu and changing the Display Settings. The text is also available by hovering over the icon. Do these methods work for you? ** Changed in: gnome-applets (Ubuntu) Status:
