Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: bluedevil

I have been unable to use my bluetooth device since upgrading to Kubuntu
10.10. Bluetooth has been very very unstable. Sending files to my
bluetooth device fails. I don't get any prompt to accept what is been
sent. Also I can not get pairing to work. Sometimes also when I search
for available bluetooth devices, It only shows their mac address and not
the name of the device. I have been to the irc to see if this issues are
unique to me or if its a general bug with the bluedevil package on
Kubuntu 10.10. I have to say though that bluedevil worked very well
without any issues on Lucid and issues started after I install maverick
