Public bug reported: Binary package hint: bluedevil
I have been unable to use my bluetooth device since upgrading to Kubuntu 10.10. Bluetooth has been very very unstable. Sending files to my bluetooth device fails. I don't get any prompt to accept what is been sent. Also I can not get pairing to work. Sometimes also when I search for available bluetooth devices, It only shows their mac address and not the name of the device. I have been to the irc to see if this issues are unique to me or if its a general bug with the bluedevil package on Kubuntu 10.10. I have to say though that bluedevil worked very well without any issues on Lucid and issues started after I install maverick ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: bluedevil 1.0~rc4-0ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.34-generic-pae 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic-pae i686 NonfreeKernelModules: wl Architecture: i386 Date: Tue Oct 19 10:28:38 2010 InstallationMedia: Kubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release Candidate i386 (20100928.3) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_GB LANG=en_GB.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: bluedevil ** Affects: bluedevil (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 maverick -- I can not send files or pair with my bluetooth device https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/663167 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
