While upgrading from hardy to lucid, I run in the same trouble with the
package python2.6-minimal_2.6.5-1ubuntu6_i386.deb.
The dist-upgrade.log says:
dpkg: Entpacke python2.6-minimal (aus
.../python2.6-minimal_2.6.5-1ubuntu6_i386.deb) ...
new installation of python2.6-minimal;
