Hi Adrian, I think the problem got fixed in later versions, yours are rather old. Try svn trunk instead. With that you can do 'make distfiles' to generate files for the package manager in question. On gutsy it would create debs. HTH, jules -- --onlytop does not work

Hi Jules, The versions were: Brutus keyring 0.9.11 - this compiled without any problems Evolution brutus 1.1.29.23 and 1.1.30.11 - both stopped at the same place with the error shown This only occurred for me in the docs directory, but this may simply be the first directory found with the

In addition to Ian's comments above regarding Gutsy I also found that automake-1.7 prevented the compilation of evolution-brutus, specifically it gave the following errors: Running automake-1.7... docs/Makefile.am:35: `brutusdoc_DATA' is used but `brutusdocdir' is undefined docs/Makefile.am:35:

I have just tried the workaround above in gutsy. Couple of additionals: (1) The additions to .bashrc can be summarised to: export PATH=$HOME/opt/bin:$PATH export LIBDIR=$HOME/opt/lib export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LIBDIR:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH export LD_RUN_PATH=$LIBDIR:$LD_RUN_PATH which should work for

Yes, I still have this problem. The problem occurs if you are including an IDL file in another IDL file. Imagine this: /* a.idl */ module BRUTUS { interface foobar { void method(); }; }; /* b.idl */ #Include a.idl module BRUTUS { interface foo { void bar(in foobar parm);
