Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: scribble

See Debian bug #472377.

Fixed in Debian version scribble/1.10-2+nmu1 and in Ubuntu Natty
(https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/scribble/1.10-2+nmu1/+build/2003103)

The bug generates multiple lines of error messages every time I do an
apt update.

Could we have a backport to maverick?

Cheers,
Peter

PS Wow, it's hard to report a simple bug in Ubuntu! I literally spent an
hour trying to get the system to accept it -- even after all the login
rigmarole it spits out "Constraint not satisfied", with no hint on what
the constrain is. I still don't know.
