Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

When opening gnome-terminal, it appears above the active window, but the 
(previous) active window still has the title bar of the active one. Dragging 
the terminal over top of the other window's border produces discolouration. 
I've attached a screenshot, and I can take a screencast if it helps.
This issue doesn't seem to happen when there is a gnome-terminal already 
running.
