This needs to be addressed in Firefox really. Either it should handle
mimetypes properly as per XDG spec out of the box or at least use xdg-
email to invoke $emailclient.
IIRC latter is the only sensible possibility as the mimetype handling
requires a lot of GNOME libraries. So I suppose firefox
I think this should be implented as soon as possible. I can't find the
original bug, does someone has it?

Thank you for your bug report. I changed it to a wish list bug. i
changed the package as this is kubuntu related not ubuntu. I would agree
with you but firefox is included in ubuntu-desktop package as kubuntu-
desktop package does not include firefox by default. the mozilla-
firefox-gnome-support

It's ok when Konqueror is the standard browser in Kubuntu, and It's no
good idea to install 57
I think it's a good idea.
