Public bug reported:

Using cups [1], and openoffice [2], when trying to print a document the
terminal (booted over ltsp) crashes out to the login screen after
functioning for up to a few minutes.

I think I traced the problem to the users .cups/lpoptions file which had the
following two lines in it:
Default Optra-S-1855 Duplex=None InputSlot=Default
Dest Phaser-780 Resolution=600x600dpi

When these lines were replaced with the one following, the system stopped
crashing, and started to print.
Default Optra-S-1855

Steps to repeat:
Launch writer
-> File
  -> recent documents
Scroll down to page 3 of document.
-> File
  -> Print
    -> Select printer (Phaser 740, network printer)
    -> Print range : page 3
    -> Options
      -> Black and white ticked
      -> Leave "print hidden page" ticked.
      -> ok
    -> ok to print.
      -> warning about transparent objects, select no
      -> press 'print/ok' (whichever it is)

If you need any more info on the server setup (or the file which causes
the crash) let me know. I didnt test on other files.
