Public bug reported: Unfortunality this "bug" disappeared when I rebooted. Before I did that I had firefox quit with a SIGSEGV fault upon klicking a link to a .pdf file before it was able to open up a a dialog. This happend 4-5 times in row and I had to restart firefox from the panel. The last time i started firefox with the -d switch and got a better fault output:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. ---Type <return> to continue, or q <return> to quit--- [Switching to Thread -1220393280 (LWP 8119)] 0xb273d5ef in ?? () from /usr/lib/firefox/components/libgkplugin.so (gdb) I did not do a backtrace however and I cannot reproduce the problem after a reboot. Something got corrupted somehow and forced me to reboot Ubuntu to recover from the problem. I am using a fully uptodate Ubuntu Dapper and firefox package is: 1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.7-ubuntu0.6.06 ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- SIGSEGV in libgkplugin https://launchpad.net/bugs/67222 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
