seemed related to the wake on ring feature in my BIOS settings, and to

Same problem here, after installing Maverick as second install in dual
boot with XP on a Thinkpad T43. There was no problem with XP until after

It also happens to me after upgrading to Maverick. Note that I've been
using Lucid for months and I never experienced this issue, so it seems
to me it's a kind of regression. Please let me know where to file a
bug for this, or if there is one already open, because I was not able to
turn out
