Public bug reported: When you go to add a new keyboard layout and select a UK layout, it (awesomely) shows the actual layout and the values of all the keys. However it shows it over a US-style physical keyboard (i.e. with a one- row-high return key).
The keyboard model I have selected is "Generic 105-key (Intl) PC". The problem is that the physical layout of the keys for this keyboard type is not constant. The fix: The code should detect when a UK layout is detected and draw using UK-variants of the 105-key (or whatever) keyboards. Instead of this: http://concentriclivers.com/misc/keyboard_current.png It should look like this: http://concentriclivers.com/misc/keyboard_correct.png ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- UK keyboard layout is drawn incorrectly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/673593 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
